I was getting my hair colored today and the stylist asked if I wanted my bangs trimmed, but I didn’t want to pay extra money for that so I told her no. She was like “I mean it’s complimentary since you get your hair cut here” But I couldn’t switch my answer to yes now without looking like a poor person, so I just declined and said I didn’t need it (as I struggled to see with bangs hanging in my eyes).

It reminded me of yesterday when I was at the grocery store and put grapes in my basket and then proceeded to eat a grape every now and then while shopping so that when I got to the checkout it would weigh less and be cents cheaper.

I’m not poor, I promise!
