… but I am also a horrible reader. I escalated a defect to my boss today and I got a reply back from him that said “Hey, I found out yesterday there may be a very feasible workaround. Let me see how soon I can get it to you.” But I read the last part as “Let me know how soon I can get it to you.”

Then I sat here for about 5 minutes staring blankly at the screen trying to figure out what that meant

“Maybe he has to mail it.”

“Maybe it will take time on my part and he doesn’t want to take me away from my heavy workload.”

“Maybe he wants me to talk to the clients and see when they want it.”

I tried to compose a response that didn’t consist of “WTF?!?!” until finally I re-read what he put and said “OOOOOHHHH” *facepalm*
