Memory choices
Do you ever find it weird the pieces of information that your brain chooses to store and remember? I’ve decided to start sharing these memories with you as I remember them:
- On an episode of MTV’s Singled Out game show, there were 2 guys left competing for one girl and the score was tied. In order to date this girl, they had to pick the number closest to her answer for the following question: “How many Saturday nights last year did you not go out?” I don’t remember what the guys answered, but I remember that her answer was 3. To this day, that still startles me.
- My biology teacher my junior year of high school told us that we should all really think about population control and when we get married to only reproduce ourselves (2 kids per couple) so that the population would not grow exponentially. I think this is a really good idea and it’s the only thing I actually attribute to learning in high school. Also, I’m the 3rd child and it makes me sad to think I shouldn’t have been born.
