I’ve tried to go through my facebook friends before and remove people I had only one class with at LSU or I met briefly at a party - you know - those accumulated people that don’t really need a glimpse into your life or vice versa. This is no easy task considering I have almost 1,000 friends on that bloody site. I’ve started to look at the “Today’s Birthdays” list and remove people I wouldn’t tell happy birthday to.

Then I always feel bad in case they have a running count of how many friends they have and they are thinking “Who would be so cruel as to de-friend me on my birthday?”
