The name explains itself. In a strange and impromptu chain of events, Daniel and I had both fiddled with the idea of feed reading Pollstar to always know when our favorite bands were playing. While doing some regular expression matching, we decided to launch a micro site. Within 15 minutes of development, a site was scripted, designed, and hosted by Ben Benner. If you live in...

I order things online from places and then I get auto-registered for their crappy weekly emails - and I’m vigilant in unchecking those boxes that ask if you want emails, but apparently these are places that don’t ask or honor your choice.
Anyway, I just realized that I’ve been getting a bunch of these for a while and I’m way too lazy to go through the Unsubscribe process....

…and you respond with “Maybe you’re pregnant” - that annoys me more than if I’m being bitchy or emotional and you say “Someone’s on their period”.
“You” isn’t referring to anyone in particular. I do get really hungry or really nauseated a lot, so I guess I hear that I’m pregnant a lot.

BTR to DFW to AUS
In the baton rouge airport right now and I bought a bag of lifesaver gummies. Everytime I reach in I pull out a green apple one and I am not happy about it.
Overslept and woke up an hour before flight boarded. I made it but I didn’t get to shower and I stink. I wasn’t fully packed last night so I hope I didn’t forget anything important.
Also I’m pretty sure I was sitting next to guys that were on America’s best dance crew.

This is from 1993, but it’s pretty neat that she is mentioned at the bottom of the article (Carmen).
Phone call
Brother: Hey Lace, we want you to read a poem at the service, is that okay?
Lacey: Yeah, there aren't any big words are there?
Brother : haha, no I don't think so. The poem is pretty short too.
Lacey: Ok, just draw pictures and I'll make it up as I go.
Update on flight sitch
For future reference if others ever need to fly for a relative’s funeral:
There is a 800 number that was made just for booking these flights. Here is the website. It would have been the cheapest way to go, but they tack on a $25 service fee for their troubles, which made it more expensive than what I ended up going with. They said after fees and taxes, the flight would be $358 plus a $25...
Has anyone ever had to book a...
If so, what airline tends to be the cheapest for this? It looks like American Airlines, but I wanted to see if there were any that go cheaper. My grandmother passed away last night and I’m trying to book a flight to attend her funeral.

I turned on the radio and heard about 47 year-old Susan Boyle and her breakout performance on Britain’s Got Talent, the U.K. version of American Idol. Everyone was blown away by the power and purity of the voice emerging from this dowdy middle-aged person. Ms. Boyle walked onto the stage and awkwardly camped it up a bit with the judges. She forthrightly revealed her dream of making it...

My very Austin weekend
Jake came into town late Thursday night and we stayed in and watched the shows (Office [x2], 30 Rock, and Parks and Recreation).
Friday morning, I made a big breakfast and then we went to Mt. Bonnell and got some great pictures
After Mt. Bonnell we went to Zilker Park and went canoeing for about an hour - saw tons of turtles, one snake, and one bird tried to attack us.
On our way back from...
