They performed the surgery and he had 4 perforations and there were bacterial infections lining his GI tract and his pancreas. The vet said the only humane outcome would be to euthanize him.

So not only is it my birthday...
…but we had our annual Service Awards luncheon for work at the UT club. I got an award for working there for one year. For some reason heads turned and eyebrows were raised when I went up to accept my award. Afterwards, I was told that most people thought I had been at the company for at least 3 years.
